The way to use my Logic editor is to record tweaks as sysex edits into a Logic track, just like any other logic editor. I recommend this especially with the DFT part of the editor. I have not tried to save any edits as a patch - I assume it is possible from the controls of the K5. The only aspect worthy of note is the vector object used for set harmonic levels, where you can sweep the ccursor around and change harmonic levels quickly (rather than selecting one individually and then setting the level). Rapid sweeps tend not to be picked up, presumably due to the amount of data being generated. The Logic song also contains some incomplete editors for the D110 and the Quadraverb. Just to tweak a few important aspects of those units. It works, though I haven't really used it myself. This are notes from the author of K5load.iso Roger Green.
